Artificial insemination is, in particular, the process of collecting male sperm, after laboratory treatment is preferable, through a special tube for fertilization introduced into the woman’s uterus, the injection time is selected during the woman’s ovulation period. Both are assisted reproductive technologies, IVF is in vitro fertilization, and artificial insemination is in vivo fertilization.
There are two main types of artificial insemination: one is to use the husband’s sperm for fertilization. The other is artificial insemination of sperm in a donor or frozen reservoir. Due to male factors, female cervix, immune or unexplained infertility, sperm can be washed out, and then intrauterine insemination or intraperitoneal artificial insemination, or direct fertilization in the follicles.
Usually the first stage is to stimulate ovulation of the follicles in order to expel more unfertilized eggs. The female fertility cycle can be advanced using a progestogen preparation to remove more than one egg.
At the second stage, the Center’s physician will use ultrasound to guide the ovaries and remove newly ripe eggs.
In the third stage, after the egg is identified and separated from the follicular fluid, it is fertilized and placed in an incubator for cultivation. The fertilization process of most eggs is simply to collect the eggs together with the healthy sperm of the donor, which will allow nature to complete the rest of the work. Usually within three to five days the fertilized egg undergoes cell division and forms an embryo. On the fifth or sixth day, these embryos become blastocysts. These healthier and more stable blastocysts allow professionals to maximize your chances of getting pregnant.
Finally, the embryo will again be implanted in the cervix, which will allow natural pregnancy to take over the entire process. More than one embryo can be implanted in the uterus to increase the chance of pregnancy.
